Wireless Security Expert Andrew Lockhart Joins Network Chemistry

Developer of Popular Open Source Security Software to Drive R&D for Leading Wireless Security and Management Provider

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Network Chemistry Inc., the leading provider of integrated RF security and management solutions, announced today the appointment of Andrew Lockhart as lead security analyst. Mr. Lockhart is recognized as one of a handful of wireless security experts and is best known for founding the Snort-Wireless project, which added wireless intrusion detection capabilities to Snort, the leading Open Source intrusion detection system software.

Andrew Lockhart is an active writer and industry speaker and recently authored the well-known book "Network Security Hacks" which was published by O'Reilly in five languages. The book provides a guide for network administrators to make Linux, UNIX, and Windows networks more secure. At Network Chemistry, Mr. Lockhart will be responsible for driving the research and development of advanced security features for RFprotect(TM), the company's industry-leading wireless intrusion detection and prevention system (WIDP).
