Egnyte Expands Global Operations to Meet Rapid Growth

Market demand drives hiring and expansion into Europe and U.S. regional centers

Egnyte, the provider of the most comprehensive file-sharing platform for the enterprise, has announced its global expansion plans, with the establishment of regional centers in Spokane, Washington and New York, as well as a European headquarters in London and broadened operations in Poland. This expansion will enable Egnyte to meet the rapidly growing global demand for enterprise file sharing.

Egnyte's revenue has doubled year-over-year for the past two years, and the company expects to more than double revenue ending 2014. Egnyte's accelerating growth and the rapid expansion of the enterprise file-sharing market overall underscores the need for a platform-based approach that provides complete file sharing, sync, and storage capabilities, and also enables complete control over data and user access.

"Egnyte's phenomenal results and global success validate the unprecedented demand for a comprehensive enterprise file-sharing solution that provides secure access to 100% of customer files from any device, no matter where those files actually reside," said Egnyte founder and CEO Vineet Jain. "We're investing heavily in our global operations so we can strategically address new markets and better support our existing customers around the world. Egnyte's commitment to provide superior customer service, combined with the addition of regional resources, will enable our customers and partners to receive attentive and dedicated local support."

Egnyte is excited to open an office in Spokane, Washington due to its diverse talent pool fed by Gonzaga and Washington State University graduates. Egnyte has also opened operations on the East Coast to better support its growing user base in the region.

In addition, Egnyte works with a large installed base throughout Europe and will better service its customers with the establishment of a regional presence in London by the end of Q1 2014, as well as continued expansion of the company's research and development center in Poland.

Egnyte recently closed a $29.5 million funding round, and a portion of those funds will be used to fuel this expansion, which will also include new hires globally across the development, sales and marketing teams. Some of Egnyte's recent customer wins include Cracker Barrel, Garda, H.D. Smith, IKEA, Tommy Hilfiger and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
