Electronic Payment Processing Leader Introduces Breakthrough Payment Solution for Small Businesses

¶ PaySimple 2.0 Helps Small Businesses Save Time, Money and Become PCI Compliant

PaySimple, the leading provider of SaaS (Software as a Service) on-demand electronic payment solutions for small businesses, today announced the availability of its newest solution, PaySimple 2.0. PaySimple 2.0 helps small businesses bridge the technology gap, and to grow with the efficiency and cost-savings that large companies have, but with the customization and personal touch that small companies need.

The centerpiece of the PaySimple Solution 2.0 is the Payment Processing Center. Users have the ability to electronically collect payments via eCheck/ACH or credit card as well as pay their vendors via those channels in one user-friendly, convenient system. Payments can be made as one-time or scheduled recurring transactions, all at the merchant’s discretion and convenience. Schedules can be easily updated, multiple payment types can be used, and all communications with customers and vendors can be automated and customized. No other payment solution offers this level of simplicity, flexibility, and functionality to the small-business market.

“The PaySimple Solution 2.0 is the first of its kind to be built around the core needs of the small-business owner,” said Eric Remer, PaySimple CEO. “We are proud to deliver a technology solution that is so simple our customers do not need any technology experience to use or customize it. Yet, it is robust enough to compare with any enterprise-designed solution. We’ve built a solution with the small-business needs and budget in mind.”

Small-business owners can use and benefit from the PaySimple Solution 2.0 even if they don’t have a website. With the enhanced PaySimple WebForms Module, even novice users can create securely hosted Web pages that their customers or donors can use to make payments for online purchases, pay their bills online, or even set themselves up on recurring billing.

PaySimple 2.0 customers can insert customizable Payment Buttons into their websites that link to those customizable payment forms. This gives PaySimple 2.0 customers the ability to easily collect payments on their website with a page that can be configured to match the look and feel of the existing website without any .html experience. Using the PaySimple 2.0 WebForms Module, a small business can look as professional and polished as any big business, without bearing the expense and maintenance.

The PaySimple Invoicing Module takes web payment forms to the next level. Merchants can send customers an email invoice containing a button that seamlessly transfers customers to a secure online payment form from which they can make a payment at their own convenience and in the payment form they choose. Merchants can copy and paste the PaySimple Button into their own invoices, or use the customizable PaySimple Invoices, it’s their choice.

PaySimple Solution 2.0 customers are particularly excited about the PaySimple Recurring Payment Module. Users can easily create an automated schedule for the system to automatically charge customers, using an ACH or credit card transaction, for a pre-determined amount on a pre-determined schedule. The PaySimple Recurring Module is perfect for monthly bill payments and/or payment plans. Unique features of the Recurring Module include the ability to use a secondary payment method should the primary method fail. It can also send customizable emails in advance of scheduled payments, at the moment the payment is processed, and after the payment has processed as notification it has failed for any reason. PaySimple 2.0 customers can offer their end customers the same kind of electronic bill paying convenience as any large company.

PCI Compliance

PCI Compliance is required by Visa/MasterCard for all merchants handling credit cards. Not following these rules can result in fines to the merchant and processing privileges being suspended.

PaySimple understands that these rules can be complicated for merchants, and designed PaySimple 2.0 to the highest security standards that were validated as part of the company’s own PCI Compliance audit. While individual businesses must take responsibility for their employees and operational practices, they can be assured that if all transactions are directly entered into, and exclusively stored in, PaySimple Solution 2.0; they will be operating in a PCI compliant manner. These security measures allow merchants to assure their end customers that credit card and bank account information is secure.

PaySimple Solution 2.0 – Simplifying the Lives of Business Owners with the PaySimple Upload Center

PaySimple Solution 2.0 features the PaySimple Upload Center, which enables merchants to create multiple recurring payment and disbursement schedules, multiple invoices and invoice schedules, multiple one-time transactions, and multiple customer profiles at once. This feature saves the time of entering payments or updating invoicing/billing schedules one at a time. In addition, PaySimple Solution 2.0 securely stores customer credit card and bank account information so that merchants can upload and process future transactions by Customer ID—without needing to upload account information again.

Risk Management

The PaySimple Solution 2.0 provides multiple fraud prevention functions such as AVS and CVV2 validation for credit card transactions, and check verification for ACH transactions. The system also includes functions such as email blocker, IP address restriction, duplicate detection, and multiple credit card submission detection that help merchants prevent their web payment forms from being utilized for fraudulent activity. Additionally, PaySimple 2.0 offers both account level and user level processing limits and processing permissions, which enables small-business owners to provide employees with only the minimum system access that is required to do their jobs.

When talking IoT we often focus on the devices, the sensors, the hardware itself. The new smart appliances, the new smart or self-driving cars (which are amalgamations of many ‘things'). When we are looking at the world of IoT, we should take a step back, look at the big picture. What value are these devices providing. IoT is not about the devices, its about the data consumed and generated. The devices are tools, mechanisms, conduits. This paper discusses the considerations when dealing with the...
