NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 10/17/08 -- James Barbour is currently starring in "A Tale of Two Cities" as Sydney Carton and definitely making an impression.
In addition to performing eight weekly performances in front of audience-filled houses on the stage of the Al Hirschfeld, some of his activities include:
On October 17 he was at the UN, supporting the "Stand Up Against Poverty" event by performing in front of many UN staff. The event was hosted by H.E. Miguel D'Escoto Brockmann, President of the UN General Assembly, Asha-Rose Migiro, UN Deputy Secretary-General, Ad Melkert, Under-Secretary-General and Associate Administrator, and Kiyo Akasaka, Under-Secretary-General for Communication and Public Information. It was broadcast all over the world to the many participating consulates.
Then the following day on October 18 at 9:45pm, he will be live on CBS-TV News with Steve Bartlestein.
Other interviews include WOR National Radio Interview with Joey Reynolds later in the month (October 30th).
If you want to hear James Barbour sing somewhere besides the Al Hirschfeld, you will also find him at the Drama League's Fifth Annual Fall Festivities on November 17.
Furthermore, he has been asked to play the title role in the upcoming reading of Frank Wildhorns' "The Count of Monte Cristo" from November 9 thru 13.
